Freelance Cloud Engineer Azure - Antwerpse Haven

For one of our customers, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer. You will be responsible for our Cloud Technologies, currently mainly hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Here’s how you’ll make impact:

• You have experience in designing, managing, maintaining and support of a (hybrid) cloud setup
• For small cloud projects alignment will be done with the Cloud Architect and/or Senior Cloud Engineer. You will be responsible for the full implementation of the design and the solutions
• For larger projects you work in team with other Cloud Engineers, a Cloud Architect and/or Project Managers across the world. We can count on you for the professional implementation of the tasks entrusted to you.
• You also offer third-line support to the businesses and colleagues who are using services on the Cloud environment hosted in your region.
• Automation is in your genes. You always strive to make your life and that of the operation engineers easier by automating everything. Infrastructure-as-Code does not sound weird to you.
• You keep your work well-documented, clear and to the point.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You already have 2 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Azure
• You are eager to learn and ambitious. You also invest your own time in keeping your competencies up-to-date.
• You work accurately and on a project basis
• You have knowledge of, or are willing to learn more about:
• Azure Service Fabric 
• API Management 
• Azure SQL Database 
• Cosmos DB 
• Azure Front Door 
• Traffic Manager 
• Application Gateway 
• Virtual Network 
• ExpressRoute 
• Route Tables 
• Virtual Machines

• Security Center 

• Certification in Azure (AZ-103/104, AZ-400; AZ-300/303, AZ301/304) is a nice to have
